Scissor Curb
 

If your horse likes the bit he is wearing but needs a little more rate, this curb is designed to add extra pressure to a horse’s jaw. When pressure is applied you get the normal pressure from a curb plus the scissor action adds extra pressure to the jaw bone. This curb works well on a ring snaffle when positioned “above” the reins.
