The Black Hawk training snaffle was developed
with a weighted loose ring for increased feel through the reins. It aids
the rider in developing a lighter, softer mouthed horse without brace.
The three piece O ring, Mullen mouthpiece applies pressure to the
outside bar area increasing lateral control. The inlaid copper helps
induce salivation to maintain the soft feel. The Black Hawk training
snaffle is ideal for any stage of training or retraining. The snaffle
should be adjusted with one wrinkle and complemented with a 3/4” inch
