Big thank you to all those that helped get this show under way. Really nice show grounds with an indoor and the best footing I can remember at a district show! Great job guys.Not to mention good added money too! We had 12 new members sign up at this show or rejoin! Point standings will be updated soon on www.mcdiamond.com and my site www.athleticstyleranch.homestead.com. I will be awarding bonus points to members for coming and competing at our districts shows. This well help with all the tries we had last year. This is for our district awards only and not for quailing for world points. 2010 News from GA. Points will still be kept on a 4-D basis. The Open and Youth world will be ran on a 5-D basis to see how it works. Happenings for 2010 I am going to be looking for sponsors for this season and I do need your help as members!! Any donations will be accepted. Please bring horsey items to raffle off at shows throughout the summer. Let me know if you need a sponsorship packet if you would like to help get some donations. Please help out or if you have any contacts you would like me to call make sure to send the information over. I would be glad to contact them.Andrea Keehn had a great idea to raffle some gas cards off throughout the summer at the shows. I am working on getting some sponsored for are first show. Make sure to thank Andrea for this idea!! If anyone else has any ideas let me know. Thanks Andrea2010 Calendar of Events Don’t Forget you must have your card with you at shows and know your NBHA number!! No exceptions this year! Remember to write your district number down also. If you do not you will not get points and Will have to pay the $10.00 non-member fee .Very excited to say we have all eighteen shows in for this season and approved. Next show C R Arena May 15 showbill enclosed). May 28th – 30 th is the NBHA Nationals at Gordyville USA in Gifford, IL. (You don’t have to be a qualifier to compete at nationals just become a member).June 4th Friday night show at Saylors Arena in Grovertown and Saturday the 5th. June 26 & 27 is an all District show at Lewisburg, OH.July 3rd & 4th Madison Co. Eq.Club Anderson, IN. This show will have some great-added money. The 8th –11th State Finals Edinburgh, IN. Don’t miss the fun here! You will be getting your entry forms in the mail soon. It will be at the Hoosier Horse Park. Your state director Bob Hess will be sending the information out for the state finals. We will have a live Auction Saturday night after the last horse runs. Please bring items to auction. The proceeds will go to support Breast Cancer Research, The Youth World Team and the State Show. Anything of value will help cakes, pies, tack, and gift cards. If every person would bring one item it will be a great event. During the auction we will have the Free Ride To The Finals Drawing. To keep updated on the happenings with the state show and deadlines please make sure to visit www.mcdiamond.com Remember to qualify to go to the state show you must compete at three shows in your district by July 1st. July 26th – 31st Youth World Show, Jackson, MS. Congratulations to these that qualified and good luck to the ones that are going!August 6th – 7th Saylors Arena, Grovertown, IN. The 21st – 22nd back to A Bit Above in Auburn. On the 27th, 28th & 29th Fall show with the OK Corral at the Marshall County Fairgrounds, Argos, IN. Points only count on Sat & Sun.September 17th –19th Back to the Marshall County Fairgrounds, Argos, INOctober 1st – 2nd Saylors Arena, Grovertown, IN. The 16th we are back to C R Arena in Plymouth. Show bills can be found on the web. Open World will be at Perry Georgia this year October 26-30. .I will be trying to get newsletters and show bills out in a timely manor. Keep in mind this is an added expense and donations and sponsorships to the district are greatly appreciated. Most information will be emailed to save money.
