He is soft in the face, hunts his barrels and is running a nice pattern right now. I planned on taking this horse to the futurities but due to other obligations Iam selling him. Posted: 07-03-2008    Location: Lampasas, Texas 5 yr old Pony gelding approx.11.5 - 12 hands. This is one heck of a nice pony! He rides very well with a nice handle & good stop. He will lead or follow,go through thick brush, through the pasture up and down hills, through the creek and cross any water. He has been started on the barrels, stepped off of for goat tying and has tracked steers. Has also had ropings flagged off of him. Has been hauled extensively as a companion to my husbands PRCA horse. He is not for a beginner unless you plan on leading or staying in the round pen for a while since he's quick and responsive. He has a lot of speed yet easily controlled. Not a mean bone in his body, no buck/rear or silly foolishness but he is only 5. UTD on vaccs & worming, trimming and Coggins. Posted: 07-03-2008    Location: Elgin, Texas "Chilly" is a realy nice barrel horse and heel horse. He can really run and is very athletic. He has had limited hauling but is ready to go win. He has a great mind and is a real pleasure to have around. He has a great handle has a big stop due to previous cutting/reining training. If you want one that will give 100% every time and do anything you ask, then come give him a try. I would have no qualms about putting a kid on him (that can ride) to go on with and end up at the pay window. He has been used extensively in the pasture and will really work a rope.
